Funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) is at risk of being eliminated. SNAP-Ed is a key source of funding for our program. Together, this represents over $4.3 million per year, which is 40% of our funding.⁠

If this proposal moves forward, Brighter Bites would lose the funding resources needed to sustain our current presence.⁠
⁠
That means fewer families will get fresh produce, fewer children will learn essential nutrition skills, and we’ll lose a critical chance to build lifelong healthy habits in communities that need it most.⁠
