Valerie Tepetlanco is a Program Coordinator for Brighter Bites in Los Angeles. She attended Humboldt State University, graduating with her undergraduate degree in International Studies. Since then, she has worked in various positions supporting students throughout Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing her Master’s at Claremont Graduate University studying Cultural Studies. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Valerie has always felt passionate about the importance of community and food production. She is looking forward to supporting families and discuss the importance of healthy eating around the Los Angeles area. As a local, Valerie enjoys exploring book shops, hiking, and bike riding.
