Brighter Bites

Ragen Doyle is the director of development for Brighter Bites. She acts as an architect, adviser, and liaison on matters related to fundraising, grant writing, and philanthropy. Ragen is responsible for analyzing programming and planning needs and developing and implementing fundraising strategies that will help Brighter Bites serve as many families as possible.

Ragen comes to Brighter Bites from the political fundraising world, where she has worked in some of the most competitive state and national environments helping to elect candidates at all levels of office from U.S. Congress to city council.  Most recently she worked on Texas Representative Lizzie Fletcher’s historic campaign for Congress as deputy finance director, responsible for conceiving and executing fundraising strategies for what became one of the most expensive congressional campaigns of the 2018 cycle.

Ragen spent her post-college years living in New York City and working in public service and public affairs. She first served in government at the New York State Senate, working on issues such as criminal and economic justice reform, the environment, affordable housing, and food insecurity. She has also helped nonprofits and community organizations navigate the New York state budget process and guided nationally-recognized public affairs and advocacy campaigns on behalf of political, labor, nonprofit, and corporate organizations.

Ragen graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with a degree in political science. She lives in Houston and in her spare time enjoys running, golfing, biking, and cooking healthy recipes.
