Juana Flores is a program coordinator for Brighter Bites in Houston. She was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. with her family at the age of two. Passionate about helping people in the community, Juana graduated from nursing school in 2010 and has worked as a special education teaching assistant.

Juana’s journey with Brighter Bites began as a volunteer at Lantrip Elementary School in 2015. She became a program associate for Brighter Bites in the fall of that same year. Juana is passionate about helping kids develop a healthy lifestyle and she is thrilled to be part of Brighter Bites where she can make a difference one bite at a time! Juana lives in Houston with her two wonderful daughters who are 7 and 14 years old.
