Iralia was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and moved to The Bronx, NY when she was 19 years old. Iralia has an AA in Liberal Arts and just recently obtained her B.S. in Health Education and Promotion. It took Iralia a long way to finish her Bachelors, family came first and my education last. During her last semester she needed it to do an Internship, which is how Iralia came to Brighter Bites. Out of the many places our professor provided she only chose Brighter Bites, she liked the program and their goals. Iralia had experienced being a Brighter Bitesvolunteer at her child’s school. Iralia was so glad to be accepted to do the Internship with Brighter Bites and enjoyed every minute of it. Iralia loves cooking and baking and learning new things.
