Manager, Culinary Education
Christina Blick is the manager of culinary education for Brighter Bites. She received her undergraduate degree in hospitality management from the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Christina has several years of management experience in the restaurant and catering industry as well as a thorough knowledge of food safety practices. Christina has a passion for health and wellness and holds a certification as a health coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
A proud native Houstonian, Christina loves to travel and has had the opportunity to learn about various cultures and foods of the world through these experiences. In addition to developing recipes for Brighter Bites, Christina competes in recipe contests and has won several over the years, including America’s Better Sandwich category winner and finalist, California Raisin Trick or Treat Recipe Contest, Kretschmar Napa Valley Recipe Contest, and the Bella Sun Luci Annual Recipe Contest. She is passionate about delicious food, healthy lifestyle, adventurous travel, different cultures, and great friends. When she’s not cooking, Christina is running, doing an outdoors exercise class, exploring a new spot in Houston, spending time with friends and family, or trying a new restaurant.
