Visiting America’s Grow-a-Row

Earlier this summer we took several kids from the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens in New York City to America’s Grow-a-Row to pick fresh produce!

America’s Grow-a-Row is a nonprofit that organizes volunteers to plant, pick, rescue, and deliver free produce to provide fresh and healthy produce to those in need. The organization also educates people of all generations about hunger and ways to help. Brighter Bites students picked tons of veggies during their visit and had lots of fun!
