Rice Management Company & Brighter Bites Team Up to Combat Food Insecurity in Houston’s Third Ward

Rice Management Company, the major contributor to Houston’s new Innovation District, and Brighter Bites are joining forces to distribute 100,000 lbs of fresh produce to those experiencing food insecurity in the city’s Third Ward community. This multi-year partnership will include distributions at Blackshear Elementary and the surrounding area. This exciting collaboration was featured in Rice University’s student newspaper, the Rice Thrasher, and Eater Houston.
