Alicia is the Senior Program Manager for Brighter Bites based out of the Salinas Valley in California. She received her undergraduate degree in marketing from University of Phoenix. Alicia joins Brighter Bites with an extensive knowledge of marketing vegetables for the produce industry. Her experience includes food safety, FDA regulatory compliance, consumer package goods, nutrition education, advertising, design, product development and recipe development.

Born and raised in the “Salad Bowl of the World”, Alicia was introduced to vegetables at a very young age. Long before doctors recognized the role of a healthy diet as disease prevention, her mom taught her the holistic approach to eating vegetables. Alicia is passionate about eating healthy and community service. When she is not working, Alicia volunteers at the local shelters, teaches computer classes, helps with event planning and fundraising events. Her favorite pastimes are wine tasting, traveling, diy projects and spending time with family and friends.
