Carolina Moppett is a project manager for Brighter Bites in Washington D.C. She received her graduate degree from James Madison University in 2015 and moved to Argentina shortly thereafter. Her interest in food and where it comes from stems from her senior seminar class on food politics, where she took great interest in Michael Pollan’s bestselling The Omnivores Dilemma and discussions on sustainable food purchasing.

Carolina began working for Brighter Bites in March 2018 as a program associate and quickly realized the impact the organization makes on the families it serves. She loves her work with the organization and watching families flourish through the healthy produce they receive!
